Weekend gatherings and activities
Since we don’t get to see many of you very often, and getting to our wedding will be quite a journey for some of you, we wanted to create a plethora of opportunities for us to spend as much quality time as possible with each of you (and for you to visit with and get to know each other; you’re an incredible group of people!)
This desire is a big part of the reason we chose to have our wedding on a holiday weekend, and why we chose—with its welcoming front porches and ample community spaces—Chautauqua as our home base.
In this spirit, we very much hope you’ll be able to join us not just for our wedding ceremony and celebration, but for some of the other gatherings listed below as well.
Friday activities

As Chautauqua has a three night minimum on Labor Day weekend, we expect most of our guests will arrive in Boulder on Friday afternoon or evening.
We'll be hanging out at the Missions House Lodge (Map) at Chautauqua on Friday evening after dinner. Come and say hi! We may move to a bar later in the evening.

Simply take the Bluebell Road trail south, and go left when you can to the fork (though you'll still end up at Bluebell Shelter if you go right!) For more shade, walk south on Kinnikinic Road from the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage past Lupine Lane, then turn right onto the shorter connector trail, and then left on Bluebell Road, then pick up directions above.
Attire: Casual
Bring: Water bottle, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, sunhat,
Luggage storage: Though Chautauqua has a 10am checkout time (sad face), you can store your luggage at the Missions House Lodge until 1pm, or at Chelsea's parents cottage (# forthcoming) if you need to store it later than that.
Bon voyage! See you at our 50th! : )
